Great route great atmosphere even in the rain it was a great day marshalls and organisers are amazing would definitely recommend

Great event and lovely hot chocolate and lemon drizzle cake at the end! Never had that before. My only criticism, which was more my fault, at the finish line. I thought I had finished and turned off for the medal. Unfortunately, I missed the finish line by about a meter. I also thought the medals were in the bit where I registered. Long story short I wasted 5 minutes faffing before I got to the right bit and swung my foot over the timing bits. Not sure if it needed pointing out more or I'm just an idiot? Event was great though and I'd highly recommend!!!

This was my first ever ‘race’ and I was so nervous, however I had a great time it was so well organised and the atmosphere and people were amazing!

This was my first Zig Zag race and it couldn't have been organised any better. Superb Marshalls, lovely cake at the end, beautiful scenery and a lovely friendly atmosphere.

I've done a few ZigZag events now and all have been fun and friendly with spot-on organisation and a supportive team of organisers and marshals. Great medals and scrummy cake at the end, too.
This one is a pretty route, easy underfoot and relatively flat. The 5k-ish laps ensure you can do as much or as little as you want to on the day so there's no pressure if you're not feeling great or want to do more than you intended. Good snack station at the end of each lap to refuel.

This is my second Zigzag event at Ferry Meadows. What makes this different is that it’s so much more relaxed and communal than other official events. This is for everyone, the nature of the laps means that you can do as much or as little as you want. It feels more like a club event as you are surrounded by an amazing and supportive team.
Drink and cake at the end is always a winner too.
Some events focus on elite times and accolades, zigzag focuses on all runners, it feels more about the enjoyment of running, which is perfect for me.

Very well organised, very friendly and welcoming crew. A lapped event with no pressure. Very well stocked aid station to top up with drink and snack at the end of each lap. Topped off with a cool medal, hot drink and huge chunk of cake waiting at the finish line. What else is there to say

Such a friendly bunch, I love these races. They’re good for beginners and seasoned runners. The goodies on offer after each lap are the best and coffee and cake after is great. So well organised and great value for money. Oh and the medals are definitely the best out of all the races I do.

Can't wait to come on the next one.

A well organised race, friendly and great to hear runners encouraging others as I ran. Drinks and snack station well set up. Tea and cake afterwards was perfect. I would do another one.
