Fully inclusive and encouraging
This was my first half marathon after a 38 year break. I didn’t expect a record in my 70’s but found the course hillier than I’d expected. It was a really hot day and the organizers did all they could to keep people cool and hydrated. Because of the heat I decided to treat it as a social occasion and not push myself. I had a great day out with zig zag.

Zig Zag looks after everyone whatever their ability, so no one feels under any pressure. Zig and Zag are always smiling which also puts you at ease. The best running event company in the East.

A lovely friendly event. The venue was beautiful and it's a great run format. Credit to all staff & marshalls for being so friendly and helpful. You are a great team.
2 small suggestions to improve the event: An extra portaloo would have been helpful to reduce queues before the race.
Having some bins/bin bags dotted around the course would be good for wrappers etc.
