A warm day at the farm.
Excellent and well run event, with marshals around the course to make sure everyone was safe in the heat. Would recommend Zig Zag events for everyone from the international athletes to beginners and social runners too!!

Really well organised in a beautiful setting
This was my second zig zag running event this year and again it was incredibly well organised. Good pre event instructions and really easy to find and park up. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, it’s akin to being welcomed into a really friendly club. The events are probably what you would regard as low key, the participants number in the low hundreds, not the thousands like other events. The routes can be a challenge and probably none more so than today with very high temperatures, no shade and undulations on the route, however, that just presents a bigger challenge

Excellent event - Defeated by the heat
Excellent event and route but sadly I was defeated by the extreme heat. Upon arrival, the event was clearly well run. After a seamless sign up, we had a brief break to organise our fuelling and we were afforded plenty space to do so. The route was very pleasant and marathon distance would have been achievable on another day, however the conditions meant that for me and my friend, this was unachievable. There was no judgement from the race team for dipping out early and we were given alternative medals for completing a "Heavy Half Marathon" which we were delighted with. The route was easy to follow and the race staff were very friendly throughout. I'll definitely sign up to events in the future and hopefully not melt in the heat!

Great organisers, atmosphere
Great event. Marshalls, organisers, and everyone who helped run this event was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very friendly and open which i appreciated as a first timer. Snacks and drinks felt like a blessing from above especially in the heat. Only asterisk is the whole bring your own cup but it proved to be not as significant as expected. 100% would recommend. Great experience.
