Steve is very kind, considerate and concerned for the wellbeing of the participants, tirelessly driving the course, more importantly during the second half, when people may require assistance. All of the Marshalls are friendly and polite. Aid stations on route are well stocked and staffed. At the finish, cakes and hot drinks are served. Other participants are friendly and united by the same interests. The entire organisation is worthy of a five star professional event organisation award.

All road marathon with a few hills with amazing scenery and open fields. Probably one of the most scenic marathon routes in Suffolk. Would recommend to all runners: Don't miss this one!

Amazing team, amazing atmosphere. Thank you to the kind Marshall who took pity on me at mile 16 aid station and gave me a bottle of isotonic drink out of her own bag! You saved my race.
Was a tough day at the office but the last 10 miles were pretty okay!

Another lovely day with Zig Zag. As ever full of fun and laughs and a race director cruising the course to hand out lollies in the heat!

It’s a challenging route, but plenty to see along the way.
Can be quite lonely if you run alone, but if you’re happy to chat to everyone that helps as they pass by.
Plenty of water stations.
And the bling is fab.

Thanks to Steve and Zoe allowing us to switch up to a Marathon Plus another 14KMs!! And for Simon, Sarah and Jessica for keeping the last turn point open for those who chose to go over distance and a little further too.
Really enjoyed the day, running the Suffolk uplands around Newmarket. An excellent route and well planned too. Back tomorrow just a marathon after today's ultra!
