Well organised and super friendly
Great location with car park right by the start/finish. Lovely course and always so well organised by Zig Zag and the Marshalls and helpers are just great. Tea/coffee and cake at the finish, where else do you get that

Great, but difficult run
What an experience, first 10km race and first with Zig Zag Running. Really well organised, clear briefing, marshalls were brilliant. Can't wait to book my next one.
Heather Pocklington
Great venue and atmosphere. Very friendly. Would recommend.
Catherine Leigh
Friendly and stress free
As a runner that doesn't like crowds, the 11am start option was great. A very inclusive event for all distances.
Carrie Garner
An excellent event for all levels of runner. Harder than you would think with a positive atmosphere.
Another excellent ZigZag event. I have not been disappointed by any of their events or venues. Thank you ZigZaggers.
Shane Morter
Fantastic
Great run! Warm and friendly organisation, lovely scenery too. Expect trail like terrain but don’t let that put you off.
Nicki Evans
Safe and friendly
First ZigZag event I've been to and it was lovely. Great atmosphere and comfortable and well managed feel to it all. Recommend 100%, especially to new runners, for the overall sense of being looked after and the ability to manage your pace and distance with no feeling of judgement or pressure. Great event.
Andrew Mallett
Awesome event with friendly folk
Gary Jones
Well organised run around a beautiful lake. Can’t fault it.
John Pollock
Friendly atmosphere in a lovely location
Robert Pratten
Brilliant
My second run with Zigzag, and won't be my last. Great fun, and the people that organised it are helpful and a good laugh
Rebekha Portis
Tricky fun for a complete beginner. Loved it.

A good fun day out rolling around in the mud!!!
We were warned it would be muddy, and Zig Zag didn't disappoint. As Steve told us, if you can do OMG in the mud, you can do any off road trail run. And he is 100% correct.
The question whether it's for beginners is a common one, and I would say: YES it is: Because everyone is going through this together and there is help, and encouragement every step of the way.
From experience, having done this twice: Take your time, meet old friends, make new ones and love every step of the way to your cake and tea/coffee at the end and:
When you wake up next morning and look at your medal: You'll have that OMG smile from ear to ear.
Now, stop reading this and go and do some running!

Muddy and great fun
Had a fab day, the course was very scenic and the weather was perfect for running in. Very muddy in places but to be expected this time of the year.
Great friendly organisers as always. Thank you ZigZag for putting on another fab event ⭐

Mudfest
Cold Start, turned out to be a nice, dry & sunny day. But, conditions under foot were definitely a challenge. Plenty of mud and/or water patches along the ‘undulating’ route. Well marked directions, very well marshalled and a fantastic drink & feed station at the end of each lap. Four for a half marathon. Thanks as always to the ZigZag family.
Michael Fagan
Amazing
OMG at hinchingbrook is local to me, the mud can be horrendous but you have so much fun with all the other runners you forget about it
Tony Anderson
Always good events
Zig zag always put on good events, the team are always friendly and it’s always well organised.
Andrew Ryde
Fun in the mud.
Well organised, clear route, friendly Marshalls and runners - relatively short laps mean you are seldom on your own so plenty of opportunity to chat with other runners.
My only issue was that I lost my chip timing tag in one of the “water features”.
