Friendly and fun 5K
Had a great time running my first event with a group of friends. Staff and other runners were very welcoming and cheering you on. Hot drinks and cake at the finish line. Great start to what I hope will be many more events in the future.

A well organised outdoor event for all standards
Jeremy Clay
lovely friendly atmosphere
First Zig Zag race & a tough one with the hills even for the 5k which I did. My partner did the 10k and said the toughest 10k she had done but we both said really glad we did it. Will be back.

Loved this event! Small, friendly, well organised and a beautiful location. I would do this again in a heartbeat!
Could’ve done with a water station at the 10k turning point because it was so hot, but definitely did not spoil the race!

Awesome run, awesome organizers, awesome time
The course for the half-marathon was brutal. I had a great time though! This was my first ever race, and I'd like to thank ZigZag for setting up such a nice event and for giving us cake afterwards.
I wouldn't recommend this specific event to a beginner (like myself) but that's solely due to the hills. Oh my god, the hills.

Challenging but satisfying half on near-empty roads
Lovely course, well run by the organisers, with plenty of ups and downs to keep it interesting (183m elevation, according to my Garmin).
Nice touch at the end to give finishers a fancy coffee and a slice from an array of lovely home made cakes.
Enjoyed the low key nature of the whole event

Mount Barrow by name and nature
Excellently organised event, great medal, and spoilt for choice with the selection of cakes.
Don't be fooled into thinking that East Anglia is flat, there's a good amount of hills even on the 5k course. You'll have learnt your cake
Enjoyable first competative run.
Forgot to add name.

Well organised and friendly.
Good value for money. Awesome medal and bonus free coffee and cake - never had that before! Nice intimate and friendly vibe.
Course is hard though! This part of Suffolk is painfully hilly for runners :-).
Maddy Tuer
great first race
Paul Rankin
Enjoyable first half marathon
Great scenery and nice people enjoyed the tasty cake at the end
Melissia Hudd
Beautiful rolling countryside.
ZigZag is a friendly organisation, who pride themselves on friendliness and the ability to encourage all runners and people from all different stages, within their running stages.
Louise Standon
A smaller event with friendly runners and Marshalls, this is definitely one to do if you don’t like crowds!
I had a lovely plod about - I thought I might be lost at one point as I hadn’t seen anyone in a while but trusted the process and the yellow arrows and all was well.
Nice to get a cuppa and a slice of cake at the end
Jon Cocksedge
Very good experience for my first zig event, booked another as soon as I got home
Hunter Jackson
Great event and great vibes .
Signs along Route could be better marked (had to really search for some at intersections)
Enjoyable first competative run.
Very well organized, kudos to the brillant volunteers without whom, etc. Tough, hilly course, inexperienced runner but felt I rose to challenge, very enjoyable, bit miffed I didn't come in under 1 hour (fractionally over) but at 65 I'll take overtaking much younger people on the hills. The joys of a treadmill with 20% incline!
Friendly people, already booked in for the Lucky Horseshoe. Bring it on, thanks Zig Zag, very well put together, will cherish my first medal, rather well designed.

Nice countryside route and very well organised event. Would definitely recommend!
