Loved this event the course had lovely scenic views, the organisers were friendly as were the participants. Loved that there were free refreshments for runners at the end including cake. Would highly recommend and would attend again.

Huge thank you to the organisers and hosts which made for a truly fantastic event. If only all events could be like this. Everyone was made to feel special and couldn’t have picked a better event for my daughters first full marathon thank you

First marathon totally on road. Found it hard going in the heat, but event was well marshaled and way signed and with four refreshment stages where the marshal were realy supportive.

As I don’t use tech watches, I relayed on the yellow direction arrows for route. Found a few not easy to find at junctions especially the one at the medieval foot bridge, went past it. And it didn’t advise on the web site that is best to use a tech watch. But overall experience was good. Very friendly organization

It would be nice if there was a few different tshirt designs each year so I can buy a new one each event

Missed an arrow and did 3.5km more then I should have. Was told to follow the black arrows but some were so small they could have been, and were, easily missed. Missed out on a possible 2nd place finish.
But the event was really good and the medal is huge!

There was one part of the course that nearly caught me out but thanks to some other runners I didn't detor. I know some runners who it did catch out. Other that that perfect

Lovely run with beautiful scenery. The bonus of cake and tea at the end was unexpected but wonderful! Would definitely recommend to friends and will definitely sign up again.
