Great atmosphere, friendly and beginners very welcome. Loved everything about this event.
I came with my friend who was doing their first 5k. Everything about the event helped their nerves to disappear. Everyone was so friendly, the medal brilliant (with a chance to get the bespoke one), plus coffee and cake. Thank you all.

Lovely cafe, coffee and staff at the end of the race. A lovely touch and finish to a long run. Thank you

Fantastic event
My first 5k event. Organisers, marshals and volunteers were all great. Coffee and cake at the end was also fab! Thanks everyone.

Friendly and well organised but low key. Great!

The more I attend a zigzag event the more I wish to do
All so super friendly!
Each drinks station has additional snacks.
From mile 7 I was thinking of their superb cakes at the end.
Thanks so much everyone

If you love a hill you’ll love this route
Beautiful scenery and a fantastic all road route. ZigZag events are always filled with laughter, coffee, cake and of course a run.
What are you waiting for? Enter a Zig Zag event and see what you have been missing!
Over the years Zig Zag events have given me the confidence to keep challenging myself. It was with them I did my first 1/2 marathon and thanks to that event I have since gone on to do a 100 mile race last December with Centurion. I love coming to any of the Zig Zag events. You know what you’re going to get.
There had been a lot of rain on Friday so with all the cars turning up parking took a little longer. Nothing was any trouble for the Marshalls to help and guide. We started a few minutes later than the normal, punctual start time. But what was great was the RD didn’t rush or stress about the briefing. He had giggles, celebrations and a song for the runners. Any start line nerves I had disappeared.
This course was certainly undulating! But you could walk, jog or run. No one judged. As always the Marshalls live and breathe the Zig Zag ethos. Their smiles, encouragement and snacks will boost anyone. THANK YOU MARSHALLS.
Then you finish to more smiles, cheers and laughter…..and coffee and (vegan) cake! What more could you ask for on a Saturday morning in January?

Hills hurt
Drinks and snacks at aid stations and finish were amazing.

My favourite routes are all with Zag zig, and you can’t beat the friendliness of the team that set it up. I love the sense of humour at the briefing
Danish pastries and bananas would be fab instead of cake for me !
James Campbell
Very good event, well ran and friendly. Great snacks and help from all marshals!
Half marathon slightly under the HM distance

Lovely staff and fabulous cake :)
My first 10km event, really loved it. Really well organised, such lovely people helping organise the event. Will definitely sign up to more zig zag events in the future. Well done to all involved

Excellent race
Really friendly people and lovely course, always marshalls at and major turns and signs the whole way through. Tough as it was very hilly but the views and cake at the end made it worth it
