Brilliant

Great to be back at a zigzag event. Always a great atmosphere. Everyone so friendly and very well looked after at base and aid stations. Have missed the zigzag running picnic at the last couple of mass events! Beautiful countryside, just prepare for the hills and walk them! Loved the addition of the music to warm up to at the start! Thanks to all involved

What a lovely event! Very inclusive, inviting and a relaxed atmosphere

Really well organised local event. Great communication. Well marshalled at several points across the 26.2 mile distance. It was so refreshing to drive just a few miles up the road and park easily, run the event and enjoy coffe and cake with the finishers at the event. Everyone helping around the course were really friendly. Lots of drinks and nice goodies on offer on the way round. The event director passed us at least twice for a check-in. No need to navigate your way across major cities and get stuck in traffic for hours on the way home! I also received a really beautiful medal. I shall be considering other events in future and can highly recommend Zig Zag Running events!

An excellent road marathon.

Enjoyed it, there is 1,300 ft of ascent. It will come out at 26.2 miles if you stick to the side of the road and follow the ORANGE SIGNS!
I would absolutely recommend this run to anyone preparing for a big city marathon, the training and support you get are worth it. Well done to ZIG ZAG for another well put together event.

Incredible race!

The volunteers were amazing! I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support after making a wrong turn!

Very relaxed and welcoming event especially as I am a beginner.

From start to finish, a very well organised event. A first half marathon for me and it did not disappoint. So much support, beautiful scenic road route and amazing well stocked aid stations. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience! Thank you Zigzag running for a pleasant Sunday run

Great way to get running

Great organisation and great atmosphere! Route was tough with lots of hills! Great medal.

If i have any suggestion but don’t know if possible would be to start marathons on hot days earlier! Really tough.
