only my 2nd zigzag event at barrow,but its just as friendly as the last people did it,im just doing 2 more marathons there before retiring from marathon running.glad i went there for the experience.lovely people and volunteers.

My 2nd time running 1/2 here,great atmosphere well organised, hot dry day,more demanding weather than last time,but high energy @ the start& finish,also really generous cakes & sweets @ the finish.
Best fininishing black coffee I've had.

The pouring rain left us sopping wet but a little dampness could not lower our spirits. Lovely team, great support!

An out and back all road route with only 100 ft elevation to the turn point then down hill to the start with 4 laps for a marathon. Well planned, professional marshalling and clearly sign posted road route. A gentle start for any multi day event. Recommend to all runners of all abilities and with support could be wheel chair friendly too.

The best start to 10 in 10! I haven’t stopped smiling since 8am! Thank you all

Second zig zag event. First was only 10k but today was my first ultra with 51km. It was nice to have 3 options for the ultra distance and a good route. Much more hilly than expected but well organised and signposted. Good atmosphere with really good volunteers, great selection of drink and snacks throughout and coffee and cake after was very much appreciated! Also love the deck chair for fun and the medal is brilliant! Thanks for a great event :)

Amazing event. Welcome to all people of all shapes and sizes, speed - you can walk/run/crawl/cry etc.
