What a great day, a couple hours of rain but that definitely didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, a very welcoming and friendly event with a lovely atmosphere with great scenery, I cannot wait for my next event thank you. Steve

Well organised inclusive event.
A very compact course that keeps you in sight of other runners right to the end. Surprisingly hard on the legs despite being flat!

Beautiful setting. Excellent organisation as always. Steve and Zoe plus team made it extra spl for me by mementos marking my 100 marathon. Zigzag make u feel like being part of big family.

Always well organised and well marshalled with a great team. Events are supportive of all running levels and ages. This event was a pretty hard trail, partly due to the weather and some beginners may find that challenging but the option is there to walk and there are no do not finish!

Exceptional Inaugural Race!
What a fantastic inaugural Peacock Plod Race!
The community atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. The course was really well signposted, which made it so easy for spectators to know where to spot us, cheer us on and get involved. The Marshalls were fantastic too, positioned at all the key points, giving clear directions but also providing much-needed encouragement and motivation when we all started to feel it!
There was such a strong sense of community throughout the whole race. Runners were encouraging one another, people were playing music, cheering each other on and generally creating such a positive atmosphere that really helped keep everyone moving.

An excellent swirly run, with multi switchbacks. A multi terrain event. Good for beginners and the experienced. As always for ZigZag events friendly and welcoming. Even in rain a fun outing.

Tough route but finished off with cake!
it rained and rained some more, which did make the trail course slippy but no one can control the weather. marshals were fab at warning of slippery sections. the field section was tough going the ground was very uneven but definitely run worse. great selection of drinks and cake at the end.

This is a tough one
I found this latest ZZ course quite hard. I didn’t have trails with me so I was slipping all over place. Trails are definitely needed for this one, especially if it has been raining. All good fun
