Great course!
A great half marathon course. Thought I was cruising until the trail section and the hills came at the 12k mark. Didn't help that I skipped the first water station as I assumed there would be more. My fault though!
The cake and coffee at the end was very welcome, and the volunteers throughout were amazing!!!
The only negative point was the parking. I understand the need to get the cars as close as possible, but I was unable to get out due to how the cars had been parked. Fortunately another runner came to their car at the same time and we were able to maneuver enough for me to get out.
Otherwise, a fantastic course!
This was a challenging race with inclines that seemed to emerge during the second half of the race. I would not recommend taking this on without training for this distance. Overall, the team that put this together did an incredible job! 10/10!
A friendly well organised event.
Some of the trail sections were overgrown, narrow and very low head height. Needs cutting back.
Great event and lovely half marathon course, though the last 1/3rd was tough with the hills. A great looking medal, beautiful slice of cake and a cup of tea at the end
Great friendly run and lovely cake!! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like the hustle and bustle of mass events.
10km did seem to be short, I wasn’t the only person who noticed the same issue, still a lovely run though thank you.
Loved it.. this was my first zig zag run and it won't be my last. Well organised, friendly atmosphere..... and amazing cakes at the end win win
Fantastic events! The best in this area
So friendly and the most beautiful scenery- I love Zig Zag events !! Thank you
Fantastic, friendly and well run event
This was the first time attending the event, I ran the half marathon. Easy to find, parking was straight forward, plenty of toilet facilities, friendly welcome, picking up the race pack was quick, really enjoyable route (albeit the final third was tough going but I was well aware of that), great comradery amongst fellow runners, really well organised, and a good sized slice of cake after!
My first Road Half Marathon
My first time here .Loved the beautiful country lanes and villages that we ran through.
Hard going through the woods as I had road shoes on.
Nice venue ,fab hosts and lovely Marshalls as always .
Excellent event
Another great Zig Zag run. The route was great with the best post-run refreshments. The only thing I'd improve would be the pre-race briefing which was hard to hear though admittedly this was partly down to people talking through it (why don't they just move somewhere else if they don't want to hear it!?). I did want to hear because I was new to the route and, of course, there are different race distances being run over some of the same course so it would have been good to hear of any oddities in the directions. Anyway, it was made easy by good signage and marshalling,
Great Event
Well organised small scale event.
Fantastic as always. Stephen and Zoe along with all their team go above and beyond for the runners
Brilliant event

Brilliant! Friendly and easy to follow
Friendly marshall’s really appreciated them!
Brilliant refreshments for runners afterward. Great course quite a few hills but i chose the 10km route so it was okay and very scenic. Everyone was chatty and friendly and i had a great time!
Very Enjoyable
My second ever 10km and the first for 3 years. Found everyone to supportive and encouraging. Well organised and a lovely route. I will be back!
