It was a great event, well organized and had a supportive and friendly atmosphere which is just what you need. The mixture of road and trail running on the route made it ever the more interesting to run.

Such a great group to run with, always welcoming and friendly. Really well organised and superbly marshalled. The route for the Valley of the Owls is superb, gorgeous countryside with a good mix of trail and road. Aid stations were placed at regular intervals so you’re never that far from more water, juice or sweets, and of course as always a great medal and tea and cake at the end. I was last and people waited for me to finish to give me my medal and cake. Great patience from many happy people. I was very slow on the 2nd lap but it was a pleasure to take part 10/10

Stephen, Zoe & the team welcome runners of every ability and experience. There's a real inclusive, community feel and a friendliness you won't get at huge races. The scenery is always beautiful but the Valley of the Owls run is really stunning. Highly recommend

This was my first marathon and it was the hardest physical thing I’ve ever done, but I already want to do it again!! Martials were brilliant, scenery was beautiful, everyone was so lovely and friendly. The cake and the coffee sorted me right out at the end!!

I had a really lovely time doing this half marathon. The views were amazing and the overall running of the event was fantastic. Organisers did a fantastic job, marshalls were great. Great atmosphere all the way round. Very friendly.

Nice gentle rolling hills to keep the mind thinking

Would suggest putting a marshall in the woodland areas. Was alone on that part of run and it felt a bit isolated

Thoroughly enjoyed the route for the half. Volunteers at check points were friendly and supportive. Great welcome at the start and finish. Medals are amazing!!! Love to see them laid out, it definitely makes me want to sign up for more events. Cake and tea fab too. Really happy to have found your events. Only minor mishap... nearly missed the finish line.
